Sinéad Hayes: Teaching Studio
Tuition & Coaching for Violinists & Conductors
Céad Míle Fáilte...(Welcome!)
Welcome to my studio page. I hope we can find a way to work together, or at least just have a conversation.
My promise to you? I will help you start from where you are, treading the line between challenging and supportive.
Life is short, and time is precious.
I operate a strict NO SNEERING policy in my studio (and life in general!).
Wherever you are, that's where we start from.
I also operate a clear studio privacy policy. Unless you expressly choose to, you will not appear on my social media pages as "my student" or otherwise.
Life is tricky enough without inadvertently hurting any of your current teachers, or undermining your own standing as a musician!
Your promise to me?
Use what I give you, or as much of it as you find useful, get to the highest level you can as a conductor/musician, go out into the world and pass it on to your orchestras, students and audiences!

About Sinéad...
A conductor/violinist with over two decades of experience, Sinéad is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music Conducting Masters Programme. She was conductor of Hard Rain SoloistEnsemble in Belfast for 10 years, specialising in conducting contemporary music and opera.
I help violinists, conductors and singers reach new levels of artistry, through supportive, but challenging coaching and tuition.
We start from where you are, working with curiosity, commitment and humanity.
I know it can be daunting to reach beyond your comfort zone, but my studio is a place where you can feel safe to try...and fail, and try again!
I will help you develop your listening aesthetic and hear with deeper understanding, giving you the tools to creatively analyse the music you conduct and play, helping you think like a composer!
